Hello and welcome to Prospect Cottage, where we ensure that all our guests enjoy the very best in accommodation, service and dining, and like everyone who visits us you will consider Prospect Cottage to be your "home from home".

Set in the heart of the beautiful Wye Valley, 8 miles from both Chepstow and Monmouth, Prospect Cottage enjoys the most tranquil and secluded setting. Situated 1 mile down a private riverside lane, the world famous Offas Dyke footpath runs through part of our woodland. If you want to recharge your "batteries", or just enjoy the most scenic countryside, look no further.

Although nearly 200 years old Prospect Cottage is decorated and furnished in a contemporary style.

We are one of the very few establishments to have been awarded a 5 star rating under the new European "Common Standards" and are very proud that for 2009/2010 we are the only establishment in the region to have gained the coveted "Highly Commended Gold Star" award for 5 consecutive years. All our guests are also able to enjoy Fiona's cooking, which has also been recognised by the AA "Food Excellence" award" for 5 years in a row.
